ANTIQUE OLD IRON HORSE LOCKING HOBBLES BLACKSMITH HAND FORGED PUZZLE RARE!
Measure approx. 24" long.
These are the puzzle type hobbles or shackles.
Definitely made by skillful blacksmith!
Found them at estate sale.
Made to be theft proof.
THEY HAVE SPECIAL LOCKING MECHANISM!!!
A horse thief could easily cut through
leather or rope hobbles.
But these metal ones were a different story!
Tricky to open.
Could also be used as trick ankle cuffs!
EXCELLENT FOR COLLECTORS AND INTERIOR DECORATION.
ANY COLLECTOR WOULD BE PROUD TO HAVE IT IN HIS COLLECTION.
